How to Choose the Right Scissor Lift Height

Platform Height vs. Working Height

The platform height is not the same as the maximum working height – a worker standing on the platform with raised arms can typically reach about 2 meters higher than the platform itself. Always calculate based on working height, not platform height.

Matching Height to Project Type

Light indoor work (6-8m) suits retail, warehouses, and exhibitions. Medium interior work (10-12m) suits multi-story buildings and industrial installations. Tall industrial work (14-18m) suits factories with high ceilings and large logistics facilities.

When in Doubt, Go One Size Up

If your project sits between two sizes, it’s usually more practical to rent the taller one rather than risk being unable to complete the work – the cost difference between adjacent sizes is typically modest compared to project delays.
